Continuing his "legendary adventures of awesomeness", Po must face two hugely epic, but different threats: one supernatural and the other a little closer to his home. This supernatural threat comes in the form of Kai, a powerful spirit warrior who is capable of stealing people's chi. Having stolen Grand Master Oogway's chi, Kai has returned to the mortal realm and is stealing every Kung Fu master's chi, and he is now after Po's. In order to save his family and friends, Po leaves with his dad, Li Shan, to the panda village to become a master of chi so that he can defeat Kai. In the panda village, he learns not only how to master chi but also what it means to be a panda, saving all the Kung Fu masters and helping everyone discover their own chi as well.
