Vlog on a Blog:

Characters:

Elizabeth "Lizzy" Bennet: The main character of the novel. She's the second Bennet sister, and she's witty, smart, and pretty. She holds a prejudice against Darcy.

Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy: Elizabeth's love interest and the male protagonist. He makes a bad first impression on Elizabeth when he calls her ugly at an assembly ball. Darcy is very good-looking and rich but is also very prideful.

Mr. Bennet: The dad. He's kind of a funny character. Elizabeth is his favorite daughter.

Mrs. Bennet: The mom. She's very embarrassing and kind of a gold-digger. All she wants to do is marry off her daughters to rich men.

Jane Bennet: The eldest Bennet sister and the prettiest girl in the town. She's super nice and sweet and always sees the best in people. Jane and Elizabeth are very close.

Mary Bennet: The third Bennet sister and the plain one. She's usually reading or playing music.

Catherine "Kitty" Bennet: The fourth Bennet sister. Kitty follows Lydia's lead most of the time and is often jealous of her. Like Lydia, though not as severe, Kitty is also boy-crazy.

Lydia Bennet: The youngest Bennet sister. Lydia is very wild, boy-crazy (especially for the officers of the regiment), and flirtatious. She creates a huge problem for her family later in the novel, but doesn't even realize it.

Charles Bingley: Janes' love interest. Like Jane, Bingley is very kind and good-natured. He's handsome and rich and is the brother of Ms. Bingley and Mrs. Hurst. Bingley isn't as handsome or rich as Darcy, but he does have better manners.

Caroline Bingley: Mr. Bingley's sister, usually referred to as Ms. Bingley. She's very snobby and fake. She's romantically interested in Darcy and often compliments his sister Georgiana. She, along with her sister, Mrs. Hurst, disapproves of her brother's relationship with Jane and tries to break them up.

George Wickham: An officer in the militia. He's very charming and appears to be a good person when in actuality, he is just a gold-digger. Wickham = Bad, Darcy = Good.

Mr. Collins: Mr. Bennet's cousin. Mr. Collins is to inherit Longbourn after Mr. Bennet dies. He's a clergyman who constantly talks and brags about his patroness, Lady Catherine De Bourgh. Elizabeth rejects his marriage proposal and marries her best friend Charlotte instead.

Lady Catherine de Bourgh: Darcy's aunt. She's condescending and proud and basically thinks she's a god. She wants Darcy to marry her daughter Anne, who is a very sickly-looking girl.

Mr. and Mrs. Gardiner: The Bennet sisters' uncle and aunt. Mr. Gardiner is Mrs. Bennet's brother.

Georgiana Darcy: Darcy's younger sister whom he loves very much. She's shy and nice and is very talented at playing piano.

Charlotte Lucas: Elizabeth's best friend. She marries Mr. Collins and becomes Mrs. Collins.
