For all Gilmore Girl fans out there, our wish has finally come true! After years and years of waiting, the show is being brought back on Netflix!!! YAYY! That makes TV where all shows go to die while Netflix is where shows get revived. Who would have thought? Not me, because, technically, after shows are done (dead), people watch the reruns on Netflix. Now, Netflix is producing a bunch of its own original shows. Pretty cool, no? Makes the subscription worth it nonetheless.
HAHAHAHAH!! Sorry about that tangent, but I'm just so excited. It seems like most of the cast is coming back because they love the show so, so much (except for Melissa McCarthy [Sookie] it seems, but she is a very busy woman now). Even better news, Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino, the original creators, are writing this! This is great because I wasn't too fond of the final season where the new writers came along.
Well, the details that were revealed include that they're going to like mini-movies, running 90 minutes each. They're are only going to be 4 of them. Bummer! And they're going to follow the people's lives of Star Hallows in every season, so one mini-movie per season.
However, everything else seems to up in the air. I don't know how they're going to handle Richard since the actor Edward Hermann is dead. Tears! I hope they do him justice because he was a phenomenal man on the show. I loved him! Also, things will be so different without Sookie around. And if no Sookie, does that mean no Jackson and the kids too? Tell me it isn't so! Guess we'll have to wait and see!
2016 can't come any sooner! Enjoy!!
